In 2023 we added an internship to Bloom Pottery. The internship lasts for a period of 6 months. It is designed for someone who is interested in all aspects of the studio: Loading and Firing Kilns, Cones and Firing Temperatures, Recycling Clay, Making and Testing Basic Glazes, Studio Health/Safety as well as taking on projects that will advance them in pottery making. Be it wheel throwing, sculpture, hand building and/or surface design. The intern must be a member, willing to do work for education. The internship has some basic outlines and can also be designed around the individual. Please email us if you are interested.
